Another Lottoland First!
The World’s First Bitcoin Lotto
The Bitcoin Lotto from Lottoland will offer you the chance to bet using pounds to win a jackpot in bitcoins which starts at a stunning 1,000 BTC, which at time of writing is worth an incredible £14.1 Million. Who knows how much it will be worth in sterling next week, never mind next month!
World's First Fully Licensed Bitcoin Lotto
You may find lottos out there promising to pay out bitcoin prizes, but most of these are about as trustworthy as a fox in a hen-house. Gibraltar recently became the first country in the world to regulate blockchain technology - the way to store and transfer bitcoins - and as a Gibraltar-based company, Lottoland is in the perfect position to launch the world’s first officially licensed Bitcoin lotto jackpot. If you have been reading about the ever-increasing value of bitcoin and felt that you had missed that train, well now you have a chance to get on board with our Bitcoin Lotto. Match 6 numbers to get your hands on a jackpot worth (at least) a thousand of those elusive bitcoins, and match 5 numbers to get one bitcoin (or the current cash value). There will be draws every day (except Sunday) so plenty of chances to bet and win the cyber-currency that the world has been talking about. Lottoland is the innovator when it comes to lottos, which is why we are the first in the world to offer a fully secure and licensed bitcoin lotto.

How to Bet on the New Bitcoin Lotto
The Bitcoin Lotto draw is based on the result of the Spanish ‘Bonoloto’ lottery, which takes place every day from Monday to Saturday at around 8:30pm UK time. To make your bet, you need to select 6 numbers from between 1 and 49. There are 5 prize tiers, meaning that you can win if you choose just 2 numbers correctly. You can see the provisional prize table above, although bear in mind that the pay-out figures are just estimates:
A bet will cost £3 per line, with the chance to win at least 1,000 BTC. If the jackpot is not won, then it will roll over the next day, and keep increasing until we have a jackpot winner. If you thought that Bitcoins were for other people, then think again, because now you can get your own piece of that valuable virtual currency. If you prefer, tier 1 and 2 winners can choose to receive the current value of their Bitcoin winnings in pound sterling.
At Lottoland we pride ourselves on being the leading innovators of the lotto world, which is why we are so pleased to be able to present the world’s first and only Bitcoin lotto. Get involved today by paying a visit to our Bitcoin Lotto page!

Lotteries are about much more than random numbers. There are so many fascinating stories about the people who take part in lotteries, and I enjoy being able to share those stories on these pages.
