Overview
The Irish Lotto takes place every Wednesday and Saturday night, costs £2 to bet on, offers excellent odds of winning any prize of just 1 in 29 and boasts minimum jackpots of £1.7m. In addition to this you can take the chance to win two more jackpots by betting on the Plus 1 and Plus 2 games for just £1 more! Instead of entering the official Irish lottery draw, you place a bet on the outcome and the results of it can be found here. Betting with us, you win the amount that you would have won if the official prize fund was shared between you and any official lottery winners.
How do I pick my numbers?
Simply choose 6 numbers from 1–47, or you can select the QuickPick (Quick+1) option.
You can also bet on the Irish Lotto Plus 1 and Irish Lotto Plus 2 draws by ticking the Irish Lotto + box located directly under the main game slip. The same numbers you selected in the main game will be used for your bet on the Plus 1 and Plus 2 draws.
How does the draw work?
Six numbers and an additional bonus number are drawn from a drum containing numbered balls from 1-47 in the main draw.
The Plus 1 and Plus 2 draws take place immediately after the main draw with six main numbers and a bonus number drawn in each.
How do I win the Jackpot?
Jackpots in the main game, Plus 1 and Plus 2 draws are won when a player matches all six main numbers.
How much can I win?
The main game jackpot is a minimum of £1.7 million. The top prize on Lotto Plus 1 stands at £900k, while there’s a £225k jackpot available on the Plus 2 draw.
*Payouts will be determined by the euro to pound exchange rate at the time of winning.
What are the chances of winning the jackpot?
The chances of winning the main jackpot are very reasonable compared to most lotteries at just 1 in 10.7 million. As the Plus 1 and Plus 2 draws follow the same format, the odds of winning the top prize on each are also the same.
That means, for just £3 (£2 for your main game entry and £1 for Irish Lotto +) you can take the chance to win three jackpots.
Can you explain the different prize tiers available?

Why should I bet on the Irish Lotto
The Irish Lotto offers very reasonable odds of winning the top prize and boasts minimum jackpots of at least £1.7 million. Also, for just £1 more, you can bet on two more jackpots in the Plus 1 and Plus 2 games. Irish Lotto also offers excellent odds of winning any prize of just 1 in 29.
What is a syndicate?
A syndicate, in the sense of betting on lotteries, is a group of people that combine their money in order to increase their chances of winning.
With the money that they pool together, they make multiple line bets together on the outcome of a lottery draw and share any prize money won.
The benefit of the Syndicate feature is that it lets you boost your chances of winning, allowing you to buy much more shares of numerous lottery line bets than a player would just making bets by themselves.
How do I place a Syndicate bet?
- Select your chosen lottery and then click on the ‘Syndicates’ tab.
- Select the syndicate size you wish to place your bet on.
- Choose how many shares you want.
How do Syndicates work?
When you go to the syndicates tab, you will see an image similar to the following:
The lines are the amount of lines that you will be betting on in this syndicate. In the case above, 168 lines — or 168 lotto bets — in total will be placed on the next jackpot draw. If any of these numbers result in winning a prize, then the prize money is paid out to you in accordance to the numbers of shares you bought.
The shares are the amount of shares that are available for this syndicate bet. IN the example in the image, 100 shares are available. You can purchase 1, 2 or 5 shares in total for this syndicate. If you buy 1 share of the possible 100, then you will receive 1/100th of the prize and so on.
So, if you select 1 share for a lottery with a jackpot of £100m and one of the lines in the syndicate won the jackpot, you would receive £1 million. If you selected 2 shares you would receive £2m and if you selected 5 shares you would receive £5m. There is also additional information about the syndicate, for example, in the case above, the 168 lines will be placed on the next draw and there is no automatic renewal.
How can I see my syndicate numbers?
When you place your syndicate bet, you can see your numbers by going to “My Account” in the top right hand corner, clicking on “My Activity” and then clicking on “My Syndicates”.
You will see a bet slip with a combination of numbers. These combination of numbers make up the total amount of lines that you have bought in your syndicate. These are the numbers that you use to check if you have won anything in the lottery draw.
You will also be emailed your lotto syndicate numbers via a confirmation email.
