Lottoland's Betting Syndicates – An Overview

You can select from a number of different betting syndicates, which are available on our most popular jackpots.

Each betting syndicate will have a different number of lines; the more lines there are, the higher your chances are of winning big.

You also choose how many shares you want. Each syndicate offers 1, 2 or 5 shares of the available lines. The number of shares corresponds with the percentage of the potential jackpot you would claim

How Do I Win With A Lottoland Syndicate?

Lottoland syndicates aren't the easiest things to understand at first glance, however once you break them down, it all makes a lot of sense.

Plus, you can see just how much betting with our syndicates improves your jackpot odds.

Take a look at this screenshot of three of our EuroMillions syndicates options.

You'll see all three display the amount of lines and amount of shares available with each option.

Lines: this is how many individual lotto lines will be entered in each draw. Take the option on the far left, for EuroMillions this means 56 different entries, the equivalent of purchasing 56 different quick picks.

Shares: this lets you know how many available shares there are in each syndicate. 68 shares mean syndicate winnings will be split 68 different ways. If there are 100 shares then prizes will be split 100 ways.

Now, you'll notice there are three different options for you to choose from, and this is how you can tailor these bets to yourself.

Every Lottoland syndicate bet gives you the option to select one, two or five shares.

So how are these shares different to the aforementioned shares? Good question… the shares you can pick act as a multiplier on your potential winnings.

Returning to the example on the left, if you select 5 shares at a cost of £10, this means of the 68 shares available, you would get 5 of them.

Take October's incredible EuroMillions jackpot, which stoods at £149,000,000. If your syndicate held the winning line, each of the 68 shares would be worth just under 2.2 million. However, if you had gone for 5 shares, you would walk away with around 11 million pounds!

Choosing the 56 lines option essentially means you're betting 56 quick picks on the next jackpot, which would cost £112 in total! With our syndicates you can bet for just £2, and be 56 times more likely to win!

Why Can't I See Dozens Of Lines In My Account?

You may have noticed that when you login to your account after purchasing a share in one of our syndicates, you won't see dozens of lines, but instead something like this:

With a single Betslip you pick 5 numbers and 2 Lucky Stars, which gives you 1 line for the next EuroMillions jackpot.

However, the mechanics of Lottoland's syndicate works as follows:

If you had selected one additional number on your Betslip – giving you 6 numbers and 2 Lucky Stars – then you can actually have a combination of lines that would be entered into the next EuroMillions jackpot. In this case, one extra number means six different lines.

If you then added another number – meaning you had 7 numbers and 2 Lucky Stars – those numbers would now make up a combination of 21 different lotto lines. If you then had two different Betslips comprised of 7 numbers and 2 Lucky Stars that would give you twice as many as before (42).

With the example above – our 504 lines package – it is a combination of 8 numbers and 3 Lucky Stars on three separate Betslips. This gives you 504 possible combinations of lines for the upcoming EuroMillions draw, giving you 504 different chances to bank the jackpot!

This principle works the same for all our other syndicate packages. The amount of additional numbers and bonus numbers will generate the same amount of lines as advertised, giving you that many chances to win on the next jackpot.

That's why when you login to your Lottoland account and check your syndicates option, you will see just a couple of Betslips with additional numbers, instead of a whole list of lotto lines.

How To Enter

Entering Lottoland's betting syndicates is easy, just follow the steps below:

1. Select your chosen lottery and then click on the ‘Syndicates’ tab. Alternatively, you can head over to our dedicated syndicates page.
2. Next, select the syndicate you wish to buy from the options provided.
3. Select how many shares you want.
4. Finally, click on 'Enter Syndicate Bet' to proceed to the cart.
